Wagtails is an oil painting on canvas board sized 30 x 30 x 0.3 cms (11.8 x 11.8 x 0.1") priced at £290.
I find wagtails to be very charming birds. I love the way they flit about and bob around! Plenty of greater, more magnificent birds have been painted countless times, but I appreciate the everyday-ness of the wagtails and find their recurrent presence outside comforting enough that for this painting I wanted them to be my subject. I gave them a central and undistracted focus in this painting with a solid background and plenty of room for them to play within the canvas edges.
The board this is painted on is strong and thick with a texture that mimics canvas, and allows colours in the underlayer to peek through.
This painting is signed, dated, and provided with material and dimension information on the back, and signed on the front.
It will be shipped in a thick bubble lined envelope, 1st Class Signed for locations in the UK, Tracked International for locations outside of the UK.
