Twilight is a breath-taking hand made oil painting on canvas board sized 40 x 40 x 0.3 cms (15.7 x 15.7 x 0.1"). In total with the frame the piece is sized 17 x 17" with a depth of 1.25".
Up to this point I hadn't yet painted a wolf, and I found it very enjoyable. The tranquility of this grey wolf, reclining in calm repose, wore off on me as I worked. I found myself as much at peace as the gorgeous animal, and I hope the painting brings the same feeling to your home.
The painting is full of rich and delicious tones, and the wolf is rendered in immaculate detail.
The board this is painted on is strong and thick with a texture that mimics canvas, and allows colours in the underlayer to peek through.
This painting is signed, dated, and provided with material and dimension information on the back, and signed on the front.
