Summer Respite is a graphite drawing on watercolour paper sized 38 x 28.5 cms ( 14.9 x 11.2"). The drawing is sized 33 x 22.9 cms ( 13 x 9"). It is priced at £350.
Graphite pencils allow for a large amount of detail, and I wanted to capture the unrivaled and beautiful camouflage of the leopard in this drawing. Her calm and relaxed posture indicates her confidence and success, perhaps she is lounging after a big kill, or watching over her growing cubs.
The watercolour paper is lightly textured, sturdy, and off-white, and the drawing has been sealed with a high grade fixative to prevent smudging or damage to the drawing.
On the back the drawing is signed, dated, and provided with material and dimension information, aswell as signed on the front.
The drawing will be shipped in a thick bubble lined cardboard envelope, 1st Class Signed for locations in the UK, Tracked International for locations outside of the UK.
