Begin Again is an elegant and colourful oil painting of a Kingfisher sitting among purple and red leaves on a branch. It is priced at £99.
I wanted to paint something bright and cheerful, but also include a touch of sophistication to this piece. I was drawn to the gorgeous blues of Kingfishers, and thought he would sit well in a warm-coloured environment.
The piece is 18x24cms, meaning it is fairly small but attractive enough to become a statement piece in your home, or as a sweet gift for a friend.
The board this is painted on is MDF, meaning it is strong and thick and will not bend, warp or damage easily. It has a texture that mimics canvas which allows colours in the underlayer to peek through to add depth to the painting.
This painting is signed, dated, and provided with material and dimension information on the back, and signed on the front. It will be shipped in a thick bubble lined envelope, 1st Class Signed for locations in the UK, Tracked International for locations outside of the UK.
